Specialist Tours
Tours can be designed for schools, tertiary institutions and tour groups to meet your specific needs. Shorter tours can be arranged to assist with time or mobility.
A specialist tour and commentary can be designed to focus on the interests of the tour group.
Some examples are:
- Provide an overview of the initial exploration for gold in Central Otago – who were the main characters and what impact did these significant finds have on future developments
- Focus on the people and cultures such as the Scots and Chinese who came as early settlers and prospectors to Central Otago
- Schools with specific learning needs can have tours arranged to focus on elements in NCEA units or concentrate on aspects of life in say the 1860 – 1880's decades or 1920 – 1930's
